The end of the quarter surge carried into the second quarter as MadLax scored three in a row, two of which were scored by Jack Peele to take the lead. The Breakers seemed slow and not able to attack the net on offense after its early lead. A big part of that was Madlax putting in defender Will Rock to cover Pearl. This was Rock's first action of the tournament after being absent the first two days with an illness.

Two MadLax goals in the final two minutes cut the Breakers' lead to three, but it was too little too late as the Breakers ran out the clock and celebrated for the final time this summer winning an event.
The local boys from Baltimore, though, would not let the halftime deficit faze them. They came out firing in the third starting with an incredible bounce shot on the run to the top corner by Nolan Munafo to knot the game at 6. That was followed by rocket shot by Luke McWright that bounced off the netting and came out
"I got off to a fast start. Of course, they got the defender [Will Rock] on me and he played very good and shut me down but I was able to get a couple at the end," Pearl said. "It's not just me, it's my teammates. It was not a one man show and I'm happy to help."

Jack Kelly scored two goals in the final 1:30 for his squad. After scoring with 11 seconds left, Titanium did get another face off win but turned it over before they could get a shot.
"We came out strong the whole tournament, and we really played well together as a team," Narcise said. "When you love lacrosse [playing lacrosse] not as hard."

These two scores started an eventual 6 0 run that went into the fourth quarter. With a five goal advantage late in the game, MadLax struggled but attempted to comeback.
With the win, Breakers 2017 go undefeated at the event. Pearl finished with four goals finishing the tournament with 30 points for the tournament making him the leading scorer in IL Recruiting Invitational's two sessions.
The sun beat down on both teams on a hot day. It particularly impacted Breakers' face off specialist Chris Wilson because he had mono earlier this summer. He finished with two goals and six face off wins.
Both goalies played well in the game. Breakers' Alex Rode finished the day with seven saves and eight goals against while Nike Air Vapormax Flyknit
"It's challenging in this heat," Wilson said. "I suffered with mono for the first five weeks of summer so this is my second tournament coming back and the heat was very challenging but I think I did very well."
Pearl played outstanding all week. He displayed great skill as an attackman. Finishing his shots, dodging and feeding well, and it showed on the stat sheet. The Furman commit will surely be wreaking havoc in years to come.

The Breakers tied the game at five but a buzzer beater from Madlax's Brandon Williams gave his team the 6 5 lead at the half.
Among the standouts for Prime Time, outside of Savio, were Jack O'Connor (2G) and Jackson Rieger (1,1). Both attacked well from up top and have looked solid all week.
The game was controlled by the Breakers in the end. It one the groundball battle 20 13 and the face off battle 10 4 and was a mirror of what it had done all week.
Prime Time survived a late rally by Titanium in the closing minutes to win the third place game in the 2017 bracket, 5 3.
